A delegation of Joint Action Committee (JAC) today met Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Minister for Higher Education and Sh. Kahan Singh Pannu, IAS, Secretary, Agriculture on the problem related to B.Sc Agriculture approval and Affiliation.Dr. Anshu Kataria, Spokesman, JAC while giving information to the media said that the delegation on behalf of JAC apprised the Minister about the problems arose after the issuance public notice issued by Punjab State Council for Agricultural Education to the Colleges already running agriculture course in Punjab.S. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman, Academic Advisory Forum said that with this public notice the future of around 30,000-40,000 students studying in agricultural courses in various colleges of Punjab has became uncertain and seems to be on stake.Minister after giving patience hearing to the problems of the delegation assured that he will look into the matter and will discuss with the concerned dept and will try to come up with the solutions.S.
