Himachal Pradesh General Industries Corporation (GIC) and Himachal Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (HPSIDC)  presented cheques of Rs. 51 lakh each towards Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) to Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, here today.Industries Minister Bikram Singh, Vice Chairman HPSIDC Ram Kumar, MD, HPSIDC and GIC S.S. Guleria and other senior officers were present on the occasion.Another cheque of Rs. 51 lakh was presented towards the Fund by the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited.Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Chairman, HPSEB Dr. Shrikant Baldi, MD, HPSEB J.P. Kalta, Director Sudesh Mokta were present on the occasion.H.P. Secretariat Gazetted Officers Association also presented Rs. 1.51 lakh towards the Fund. The President of the Association Kultar Rana, General Secretary Dr. Vijay Jyoti, Joint Secretary Munish Sharma, Joint Secretary Nisha Kashyap, Cashier Sarjeev Mehra and Executive Member Anita Singh were also present on the occasion.The Chief Minister thanked the H.P. Secretariat Gazetted Officers Association, State Electricity Board Limited and both the Corporations for their noble gesture and said that such kind of contributions go a long way in helping the poor and deserving people. He urged the philanthropists and affluent section of the society to come forward in contributing towards this fund.
