On the initiative of Governor Acharya Devvrat, a seven-day musical Ramcharit Chintan Session based on Mahrishi Valmiki Ramayana is being organized here in Raj Bhawan. The Governor inaugurated the session here on Monday. The acting Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court, Justice Dharmachand Chaudhary and Director of Gurukul, Jhajjar Vijay Pal Arya were also present on this occasion.Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that we can live a happy and successful life by following the teachings of Lord Rama. His contemplation gives us education of patriotism, fraternal love, obedience, affirmation and truthfulness. His teachings are more relevant in the present era and the future generation should read the character of Lord Rama for the education of rites and moral values.
Vedic scholar Vijay Pal said that the teachings of Lord Rama give us spiritual power and teaches the way of living. He congratulated the Governor for organising this programme on the philosophy of Lord Rama, which shows his effort to preserve our rich culture and traditions.The renowned speaker Kuldeep Ji Arya stressed that everyone should read and observe the lives of great men because whenever there is a challenge or troubles in life, their stories suggest us the right path.Lady Governor Darshana Devi, Justice Vivek Singh Thakur, Justice Chandra Bhushan Barowalia, Justice Anup Chitkara, Advisor to Governor Dr. Shashikant Sharma and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
