Gursharandeep Singh PPS, SSP/Khanna has disclosed during a press conference that keeping in mind the view of Lok Sabha Elections-2019, Static Surveillance Teams have been conducting checking in Police district Khanna. During this campaign, Khanna Police has achieved a success as ASI Shingara Singh (Incharge Static Surveillance Team) along with team members Ravneet Singh J.E. water Supply Sanitation, Khanna & Photographer Ravi Kumar C/o Jai Studio Samrala Road, Khanna were present at Village Libra G.T. Road Khanna & conducted the checking of suspected Vehicles.A car, Maruti WagonR, number DL-1-RTB-7451 was coming from Khanna side. After seeing the police party, car driver tried to flee away. On the suspicion, police party stopped the vehicle & nabbed them. The car occupants were identified as Gajinder Gautam S/o Chanderpal R/o # A-9, Nanda Road, Adarsh Nagar Delhi & Jacob S/o Robot S/o # D-2, Chanakya Palace, Uttam Nagar Delhi.DSP/Narcotic/Khanna was also present on the spot during the checking of above said person & vehicle. While frisking, 1 Kg of heroin was recovered from the Car (covered with polythene & hidden inside the black bag). A case FIR No. 113, Dt. 03.05.19 U/S 21,25/61/85 NDPS Act PS/Sadar/Khanna has been registered & arrested them. The culprit is still being questioned & there is a possibility of major disclosures.
