Anumit Hira Sodhi, Member of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) praises and supports the steps taken by the Punjab Government under the leadership of Captain Amarinder Singh in the Punjab Budget session presented by Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal for the financial year 2019-2020 at Vidhan Sabha.The Punjab government has not imposed any new taxes on the people of Punjab in 'Budget 2019-20' and has focused primarily on health, education and bringing down the Inflation. Other Major highlights of the people-centric budget include the decreased cost of Petrol and diesel by Rs 5 and Re 1 respectively, Rs 3,000 crore for debt relief to farmers, landless farmers and families of farmers who committed suicides, Rs 3,465.06 crore allocated for health care services, which is an increase of 10.87 percent over 2018-19 and many more steps are undertaken for uplifting Punjab.Praising the budget, Anumit Hira Sodhi said, "I congratulate Captain sir and the finance minister of Punjab for the outstanding job done by them for the betterment of all the sections of society. The Punjab budget of 2019-20 has brought happiness all over the state and especially the reduction in prices of petrol and diesel has come up as a major relief for the people of Punjab and is being applauded everywhere.The process of fiscal consolidation is happening and the government is taking stern steps to make the situation better. All ministers are working diligently under the governance of Captain Sir and I really appreciate their efforts.
