Chandigarh , 02 Feb 2019

Shiromani Akali Dal Taksali President and sitting MP from Khadoor Sahib constituency in Punjab, Ranjit Singh Brahmpura termed the Interim Budget 2019 presented by the Modi Government as "Jumla Budget". In his view Interim Budget is against the general public and this Interim Budget the BJP has not touched their election manifesto before declaring the Budget. In this Interim Budget the farmers have been ridiculed which is a matter of shame for the ruling party in the Country. No provision has been brought on the record that how Modi Government will meet the deficit of huge amount which is in Crores. In this Interim Budget only false promises have been made with people of the country. Announcing the 6000 rupees annually which is only 500 rupees per month by Modi Government did only a mockery to farmers which clears that the attention of the Modi Government is not as serious or either they are against the farmers, "He Said. The Modi Government had promised to deposit 15 Lakhs to every individual's account but now the Modi Government has announced to provide only 6000 rupees annually to the farmers of our Nation. Are the farmers not a citizen of this Country? "Brahmpura Questioned the Prime Minister Modi."The Modi Government should have worked for the welfare of the people instead of committing "Jumlas" and now after presenting the last Interim Budget of 2019 it is crystal clear that the Modi Government has failed on every front and the people will give answer of these Jumlas to Modi Government in upcoming Lok Sabha polls in a perfect manner," He said".
