DIPR run cleanliness drive to mark 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

The Information and Public Relations Department today run cleanliness drive in all of its offices including state and district level offices to mark the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.Disclosing this, an official spokesman said that Dr. Senu Duggal, Additional Director, DIPR led the team of Public Relations Officers and other employees of the department stationed at state headquarter in cleaning their offices. She said the cleanliness should not be seen as a mere one day exercise, “instead, we must put in all efforts to inculcate civic sense among ourselves and others”. She also appreciated the employees for showing enthusiasm and seriousness towards this initiative.During this cleanliness drive, the employees of the department were divided into groups to carry out the various activities. While the tallest one preferred the task of cleaning the ceilings, others took up the task of cleaning the floors and desks. The employees of the department also pledged to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings.
