“Any anti-Kashmir verdict from Indian supreme court will meet a full-fledged agitation from Kashmiris who will spill their blood to safeguard their identity and uniqueness,” said the chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik on Friday.“Any meddling with state subject law of Jammu Kashmir and hence trying to change the demography of Jammu Kashmir will never be tolerated,” Malik according to a statement issued to GNS said while addressing people at Lal Chowk Bund who were protesting against the proposed abrogation of state subject law in Jammu Kashmir.“The state subject law and defending it is a matter of life and death for the people of Jammu Kashmir and no Kashmiri will sit silent on its abrogation or waning,” Malik said adding that the joint resistance leadership (JRL) has announced a protest program and called for a complete shutdown on 5th and 6th August and every Kashmiri will stay indoors on these days as a mark of protest.“If Supreme Court of India will give any verdict that is against the aspirations of Kashmiris, whole Kashmir will come out on roads initiating a full-fledged agitation and we will not shy away even from spilling our blood on roads and streets,” he warned.
