BJP has first time in Kashmir created an IT cell to address galore of problems facing by the people living in urban and  distant corners of the state after emerging as a second last political party in the state in last election in terms of voters. BJP aims to make IT as a tool  to spreads its wings in valley to reach larger masses as they are being doing in other states of the country, Narendra Modi PM of the India kicked off  Digital India scheme so that more youth could come on this biggest democracy. The existence of BJP in the valley which was rare in the recent past is  growing at a rapid pace nowadays especially after Narendra Modi became the prime minister of India in 2oo4. Bharatiya Janta Party had a zero  acceptance in Valley because of the mindset created by various mainstream parties terming BJP as communal and anti-Muslim to keep them away  from power in Kashmir. But now the time has changed, people in the valley have come to know that whatever they were being told about BJP is totally wrong; BJP aims to  make development and progress in the valley. People of valley have shown interest in the party and are now joining the party in large number, example  of which was shown by them in 2014 elections where BJP was the 2nd largest political party in valley in terms of voters.

After the floods in September 2014, the Prime Minister visited the Valley twice; first for an on-the-spot assessment of the flood situation and later to  celebrate Diwali in Srinagar. During his stay in Srinagar on Diwali the Prime Minister met trade delegations and political parties and sought their opinion  about the relief and rehabilitation programme. He has addressed gatherings in Jammu and Ladakh and inaugurated a power project in frontier Uri of  Kashmir. His various programmes like Mann ki Baat reach to almost everywhere through digital media which proves to be very powerful tool to reach people in  every corner of the country.Keeping in view the response of the people and widening scope of BJP in the valley, BJP has created an IT cell in valley which did not exist before in  order to address the problems and issues facing by the people in the distant corners of the state.Manzoor Bhatt, a renowned journalist who has largest personal fan fallowing around on social networking sites    has been given the sole responsibility  to look after this IT cell in the valley who in a short spin of time has made this IT cell a talk of the day in the valley appreciated by all senior BJP leaders  in the state referring it a welcome step to appreciate the work of the party workers on the ground and make it visible before the party also to address  the issues of general public at the earliest.   (PTK)
