An international airport is a necessity in a city like Ludhiana that will help in development of industry of Ludhiana and its surrounding areas. Member Parliament and congress candidate from Ludhiana constituency Ravneet Singh Bittu was addressing a meeting of industrialists held at Aggar Nagar. Mr. Bittu shared his views with industrialists and discussed on the plans of development of the city.Mr. Bittu said the once leader in industry and development the Ludhiana has been lacking behind due to adverse policies of SAD-BJP alliance that did nothing for development of Ludhiana.Bittu said an international airport is needed in the city that will help industrialists to move around the world easily. He said the industry not only generate revenue for the government in form of taxes but also generate employment.

Bittu said his aim to resolve the problems of industry and unemployment in the city. He would encourage I.T.Is and other institutes to establish their branches here in Ludhiana, so that the youth could get quality education and training. He said Union Minister for state, Union Minister of broadcasting and information did a lot for development of Ludhiana and he would continue it.Students of Shri Aurbindo College of Commerce and management have a question answer session with Mr. Bittu. The others who were present at the occasion were MLAs Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Gurkeerat Singh Kotli, former minister malkit Singh Dakha, Senior Congress leaders Ramesh Joshi, KK Bawa, Kulwant Sidhu, Hari Singh Brar, janak Raj, Pam Kishan Gupta, Rakesh Garg, Amarnath Manocha, Deepak Kwatra, Prem Kumar Garg, Vinay Dhir, Prof. Gurucharan Singh, Dr. Satpaul, Balwant Singh Dhanoa & others.
