Under Mission Tandarust Punjab the Walkathon Bathinda 2018 event, being held on July 22 (Sunday), has evoked great response from people of Bathinda 850 of whom have already registered themselves online.Giving information here today Deputy Commissioner Bathinda Praneet stated that the Finance Minister Punjab Manpreet Singh Badal will be a part of the Walkathon Bathinda event. Mainly being held for the elderly, the youngsters too can participate in this event. Registration regarding this can be done at www.tandarustbathinda.com wherein 850 people have already got themselves registered. On the spot registration can also be done on July 22, 2018 at Rose Garden itself.Deputy Commissioner Mr Praneet, ADC Bathinda Mrs Sakshi Sawhney, Civil Surgeon Bathinda  Dr Hari Narain Singh, SP Mr Gurmeet Singh, SDM Bathinda Mr Balwinder Singh, tehsildar Bathinda Mr Sukhbir Singh Brar today released the route plan for Walkathon Bathinda. 

The Walkathon Bathinda will cover 1.5 kms of distance. Starting from Rose Garden it will cover the areas of Joggers' Park from 6 am to 8 am.The event will begin with meditation session of Art of Living. Free T shirts will be distributed at the event. Also health check up camp will be held for the elderly and arrangements have been made for light snacks for the participants.Deputy Commissioner directed the health department to make arrangements for doctors, ambulance etc if any of the participant requires medical attention during the event. Mandi Board has been directed to make arrangements for drinking water. Heads of various educational institutes were directed to make sure that their students participate in the event.Praneet appealed people to be a part of this event and bring their elderly parents and children to it.
