Deputy Director Dr. Uma Sharma was given a warm send off here today by the employees of the Information and Public Relations Department on his retirement. Speaking on the occasion, Director, Information and Public Relations Mr. D.S. Mangat recalled the outstanding services rendered by Dr. Uma Sharma during a span of nearly 25 years. He said Dr. Uma Sharma contribution in strengthening the Public Relations Department would be a source of inspiration for the budding PR men. Mr. Mangat wished Dr. Uma Sharma a bright and prosperous future which she is likely to take up. Among others Additional Director Press Dr. Senu Duggal, President Punjab PR Officers Association Mr. Harjit Singh Grewal Deputy Director and General Secretary Dr. Ajit Kanwal Singh also spoke on the occasion and lauded the services of Dr. Uma Sharma during her different stints at Headquarter Chandigarh and Punjab.
