Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) on Saturday said that crushing to death under military vehicles is a new weapon of war employed by India against Kashmiris.A JKLF spokesperson in a statement issued to GNS said the way a youth Qaiser Amin along with two others was crushed under an armed vehicle confirms yet again that “Indian killing machine knows no humanity”.While condemning the arrest of JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik and house arrest of party’s vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, the spokesperson said that police raided Malik’s residence at Sehri time and arrested him. He was immediately shifted to police station. Similarly, Showkat Bakhshi was placed under house detention since last evening, he added.“The repression is showing no letup even during the month of Ramadan which actually shows the anti-Muslim mindset of PDP-led ruling regime,” the spokesperson said.Meanwhile, a JKLF delegation led by zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri managed to reach Fateh Kadal where it participated in the funeral prayers of Qaiser Amin.Paying rich tributes to youth, JKLF delegation expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. They said that “Indian forces have crossed every limit of repression in Jammu Kashmir and a direct responsibility of these gruesome killings lies on the shoulders of pro-India politicians, political parties and especially the ruling regime which is providing legal cover and immunity to forces”.“The orphan Qaiser Amin was the only bread earner of his family comprising two little sisters whom he left behind and Mehbooba Mufti ruling regime has crushed this whole family to death in holy month of Ramadan,” the delegation said.JKLF leaders added that hundreds of youth from Sher-e-Khaas have been detained by police during Ramadan. They prayed for early recovery of two other youth who have been injured critically on Friday. (GNS)
