“Young minds can take India to great heights”, says Kirron Kher

If you want to bring the change in India, then you should come forward to cast your valuable vote. This was the message to the youth given by the Bharatiya Janata Party’s MP candidate, for Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat, Kirron Kher at an annual function of a College held at Tagore Theatre, sector 18 today. The youngsters expressed great enthusiasm and clicked pictures of the MP candidate. Besides, they raised slogans in the support of BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi.While addressing the young and restless, Kirron Kher said, “I firmly believe that our young minds can take India to greater heights. Narendra Modi is of the view that the youth need opportunities and he lays great emphasis on the importance of empowering the youth which can leave an impact on the entire world”.After exhorting the youngsters, Kirron Kher carried out ‘Padyatra’ in the market of sector 31. She went shop-to-shop to seek support of the shopkeepers. She also met various footpath workers and motivated them by relating to the journey of Modi.

The next stop of canvassing was Punjab’s health department, sector 34 where she addressed the employees during her gate rally. The employees apprised Kirron with their demands like housing, pension and regularization of contractual workers. She assured them that she would take up the issue if BJP comes to the power.In the evening, Kirron Kher addressed six public rallies and the first meeting took place at the market of sector 20. She was accompanied by the BJP’s State President, Sanjay Tandon and senior leader Satya Pal Jain.Calling the sitting scam-tainted Congress MP, Pawan Kumar Bansal, a non performer, Kirron said, “It is unfortunate that Chandigarh’s name got linked with the Rail gate scam because of Bansal. He often offered various excuses for not bringing development in the city. The time has come that city residents will show him door for his poor performance”.  She informed people that Modi had the intent to work and people should support him for bringing development.

Later on she held her public meet at market near Kiran Cinema of Sector 22.  After this she reached at Maloya Sports Complex along with Sanjay Tandon. While speaking and appreciating local cadre of BJP, Sanjay Tandon said, “I am thankful to the party workers who have been working hard to ensure the victory. Being in the opposition party, we raised all issues being faced by the common man and stood for their welfare. I appeal to all of you to take an informed decision on April 10 and vote for the right candidate”. Afterwards, the MP candidate, addressed the rallies at villages including Daddumajra, Dhanas and Sarangpur.
