Delhi Police Monday detained expelled JD-U leader Sabir Ali's wife Yasmin for over two hours after she protested outside BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi's residence, demanding an apology over remarks that Ali was close to terrorists.Police later allowed her to go home.Yasmin sat outside Naqvi's Pandara Park house Monday afternoon but was detained by police and taken to the Tilak Marg police station along with two other women."Yasmin, along with two other women, was released around two hours after her detention," said a police officer."I will sit here till I get justice. He (Naqvi) should prove the allegation or give an apology letter," Yasmin told reporters while protesting outside the Bharatiya Janata Party vice president's house.Naqvi had last week alleged that Ali was close to Indian Mujahideen co-founder Yaseen Bhatkal.

Ali was inducted into the BJP Friday after being expelled from the Janata Dal-United (JD-U). He was, however, thrown out of the party Saturday after a protest by Naqvi.Naqvi tweeted: "Terrorist Bhatkal friend joins BJP... soon accepting Dawood."There has been speculation on the social media that Bhatkal was arrested from Sabir Ali's house.Police or the union home ministry have, however, not given any such information officially. Ali has also filed a defamation case against Naqvi.
