Kashmiri students studying in Bangladesh on Monday staged a protest demonstration seeking justice for the 8-year-old minor girl as well as urged India and Pakistan to give a push to stated endeavor for peaceful resolution of Kashmir respective army chiefs. Reports reaching news agency GNS said that the students of International Medical College and Hospital, located at Tongi Ghazipur near Dhaka in Bangladesh, assembled in the premises of the institution and staged the protest against the brutal rape-and-murder of the minor girl in Kathua. The students were holding the placards which read justice for Asifa, Justice for Kunan Poshpora and “wake-up world Kashmir is crying”. During the peaceful sit-in protest demonstrations, the students said that as the army chiefs of India and Pakistan publically called for dire need to resolve the Kashmir issue, “now it is up to the political leadership of both the countries to take the endeavor forward and see Kashmir issue is resolved once and for all.”“We are in Bangladesh, and many other students are in other countries. Whenever anything happens in Kashmir, it creates anxious movements for us. Let there be peace so that we can concentrate on studies and serve to humanity,” they said. (GNS) (Photograph attached)
