Bibi Jagir Kaur constitutes IAD’s unit in Maharashtra

After considerable deliberations over the expansion of the women wing of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in other states with its president S Sukhbir Singh Badal, the Istri Akali Dal (IAD) president Bibi Jagir Kaur today has constituted a party unit in Maharashatra.Giving this information from the party headquarters, Bibi Jagir kaur said that Bibi Paramjit Kaur Pinki was appointed as president as well as Bibi Manjit Kaur Ghai and Bibi Gurinder Kaur Multani were made Senior Vice-presidents of IAD unit in Maharashtra. She further added that Bibi Jeeti Bhatia and Bibi Harpreet Kaur Manna were appointed as Junior Vice-Presidents of the party in the state. Bibi Simran Kaur and  Dr. Charanjit Kaur have been appointed general secretary and joint secretary respectively. “The units of IAD will also be constituted in other states on the same pattern shortly” she added.Bibi Jagir Kaur today facilitated these office-bearers at a function in Mumbai. She was accompanied by Prof. Kamaljit Kaur Butala, Bibi Adeta Tiwari, Bibi Ranjit Kaur and S. Mukhtiar Singh on the occasion.She added that a Jatha of 60 women including the newly appointed office-bearers of IAD unit from Maharashtra would pay obeisance at Golden temple on March 23. She also said that on the occasion of the commemoration of the 550th birth anniversary of first Guru Shri Guru Nanak dev ji, Bebe Nanaki Gurmat Samagam of will be held on March 25 at Gurudwara Shri Manji Sahib Deewan Hall at Shri Amritsar Sahib. She appealed to the office-bearers and workers of IAD to ensure maximum attendance at this samagam.
