Continuing his spree of encouraging the youth for cracking the state’s civil services examination, Minister for Public Works, Naeem Akhtar today met the topper of Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) Anjum Bashir Khan Khattak and second rank holder, Aliya Tabassum at their residences here.Learning that the toppers hail from remote areas of Mohra Bachai in border district of Poonch and Chatroo in Kishtwar, the Minister said they have set an example for other youth residing in the far-flung areas that hard work and dedication can’t stop the talented youth from coming to the mainstream and satiate their hunger for achieving the best in the World.Congratulating the toppers, the Minister asked the youth to follow these young officers who have braved all odds to realize their dreams.Terming their selection as real empowerment of the people of far flung areas, the Minister said they can help the government in better implementation of development plans in the remote areas.
