Taking cognizance of Road Traffic Accidents (TRA) and in order to save lives during manmade or natural disasters Emergency Room at Government Nursing Home after establishment was today inaugurated by MLA Muhammad Ashraf Mir in presence of Principal Government Medical College Srinagar Dr Samia and Dr Jehangir Bakhshi Medical Superintendent GNH Gupkar Road Srinagar. While inaugurating the Emergency Room MLA assured the public and patients in particular that facilities shall be upgraded soon in the nursing home. He also threw open Free Super Specialty Medical Camp that was organized by Active Relief Kashmir group of varied specialists.The supercialty facilities of Orthopaedics, paedriatics, Cardiology,Medicine, Endocronology, Surgery, Gynaecology besdies Rheumatology were provided in the interest of patient care. Huge number of patients were benefited and people of every walk appreciated the move of organizing free super speciality medical camp by ARK in collaboration with Government Medical College Srinagar. Patients were goven free medicines besides free investigative and diagnostic facilities. The people while appreciating the organizing of camp by ARK and GMC expressed sigh of relief and requested the authorities to conduct such type of camps in the near future too.Hon,ble MLA Mir after interacting with public and patients in particular assured of such free practicing camps in the interest of public at large and patient care in particular.
