The Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today celebrated the festival of lights -Diwali with the personnel of 38 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) stationed here at Smailpur.The Minister joined the celebrations in presence of a large number of CRPF personnel led by Battalion Commandant, Ram Kumar Singh and Dy Commandant B. S Chauhan.Ganga extended his warm greetings to the personnel and hailed their spirit for staying away from home in the service of nation when entire country is celebrating the most significant festival.He lauded their role in protecting the borders and standing guard for the internal security so that people can celebrate the festival of lights amid peace. He appreciated the CRPF personnel for their commendable role in maintaining peace and tranquility in all odd situations.“We are celebrating Diwali because of unflinching courage you demonstrate while keeping vigil against enemies both on the borders and within the state,” Ganga said while interacting with the personnel.He hoped that the festival of lights will motivate every individual of the state and country to follow the path of righteousness and brotherhood.
