The state government has upgraded Sub-Tehsil Ramshehar to the level of Tehsil with its headquarter at Ramshehar in District Solan.A Spokesperson of the Government said that a notification in this regard has been issued. He said that the decision has been taken to provide better services to the concerned people of nearby villages and to avoid inconvenience being faced by them and to have better administrative control.
He said that Tehsil will consist of 17 Patwar Circles including Jayanagar, Loharghat, Kohu, Saur, Bhiyunkhari, Dolly, Dharmana, Behrhi, Ramshehar, Matuli, Bayalaa, Chamdaar, Diggal, Manlog Kalan, Ukhu, Nand and Lunas.
