Minister of State for Housing & Urban Development and Social Welfare, Asiea Naqash today reviewed status of ongoing projects of Power Development Department in Srinagar.On the occasion, the Minister directed the PDD officials to speed up the work on various power projects in Srinagar and ensure their completion on time.Asking the officials to maintain synergy with all the executing agencies, Ms Naqash said that all the projects should progress without any disturbance.During the meeting, the Minister sought the status of works on the projected receiving station at Batpora. She also asked officials to install electric poles at Indrahama, Batpora in particular and also in other parts of the city.She directed PDD to ensure that the projects are completed in accordance with the approved Detailed Project Reports (DPR). 

Reiterating that people should not face any issues, she directed the PDD to complete the strengthening and stabilization of feeders and poles by the end of this month.She asked the Department to make estimates of further requirements of poles and transformers and submit the same to her office at earliest.The Minister was informed that installation of poles and transmission lines is going on at various locations in Srinagar.She was also apprised that 90 percent of installation work in the Hazratbal constituency is complete and rest will take some 10 to 15 days.Ms Naqash exhort upon meeting that demands of genuine demands of people must be fulfilled with in proper time.The meeting was attended by S.E PDD, Hashmat Qazi, XeN PDD, Javed Ahmad, A.E PDD, Mehmood Ahmad and other senior officials from PDD.
