Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash today flagged off fresh batch of pilgrims from Jammu to Poonch for the historic Buddha Amarnath Yatra.A large number of representatives from religious and social organisations were also present.Ganga said that tight security arrangements and proper amenities have been put in place all along the route for smooth conduct of yatra. He said that Yatra has assumed more prominence in recent years with people from Gujrat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and rest of the country thronging the shrine.
