MLA, DDC flag off 'Wadi ki Sair' train from Banihal

Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani and District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz today flagged off 'Wadi Ki Sair' train from Banihal a fortnightly train service between Banihal and Baramulla run exclusively for children.SDM Banihal Vikas Verma, CEO Mohammad Sharif ,other officer, officials and  citizens were present on the occasion.Pertinent to mention that the train service was introduced in December last year, and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti travelled in this train with students of different schools.While speaking on the occasion, MLA appreciated the initiative taken by the government for starting a special train for children and said that it helps the students to know better about their state  DDC said that the fortnightly train ride would give children an opportunity to know their province and State much closely and mingle with children of other areas.
