Admission for the new session is on at the AICTE approved, Jahangirabad Institute of Technology (JIT), Barabanki (Uttar Pradesh) in different degree and diploma courses. Jahangirabad Institute of Technology is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh (APJAKTU).The admissions are open for students who wish to study Polytechnic diploma and various undergraduate and post graduate degrees.At the under graduate level, JIT offers Bachelors in Technology (BTech) in various branches like Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering .In each branch, the total intake capacity is 60.At post graduate level, JIT offers two years Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in which the intake capacity is 60. B.Tech. 2nd Year Lateral Entery and BSC (Maths) course is also available at the JIT.The admissions have already started in the first week of April and will continue till the last week of August, 2017.

“JIT has best and qualified faculty along with best infrastructure and campus, where everything is provided to the students, so that they come out as best specialists in their respective fields.The admission is already under process and students have already starting taking the admission,” said Dr. Khwaja Muhammed Rafi, Director JIT.“We already have students from 17 states studying in JIT and this year, we are expecting students from other states to join the institute,” he added. Half of the seats in under and post graduate level will be filled by the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) 2017 scheduled to be held on April16, 2017. It is a state level entrance exam. UPSEE is organized by the Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh.The institute has hostel facility for both boys and girls within the campus.
