Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) today rubbished the accusation by Congress and SAD-BJP that AAP members had links with gangsters and terrorists and made counter charge on Congress for patronizing dreaded gangsters including key accused of Nabha jail break.AAP state convener, Gurpreet Singh Waraich in a press conference here said that it had became a habit for PPCC president Capt Amarinder Singh to name AAP for any miss happening in Punjab even though AAP has time and again made it clear that no AAP leaders are involved in any kind of anti-social activity.  Waraich was accompanied by Gulshan Chhabra state Secretary AAP and Manjit Singh Sidhu, Co-Coordinator Media Cell.He said that Gurpreet Sekhon key accused in Nabha jail break case belongs to a Congress family and Vicky Gounder an accomplice of Sekhon was brought to world of crime by a Congress leader. He said that family members of these gangsters were on record to accuse Congress for misguiding their wards. He refuted charges that any AAP leader had given shelter to these gangsters. He affirmed that no office bearers of AAP were involved in harboring any gangster.he also lambasted BJP state President Vijay Sampla for meaningless allegations and said that gangsters and terrorists in Punjab were products of Congress and SAD. AAP will clear the mesh, he added. he said that this shows the frustration of SAD-BJP alliance and Congress leaders.

Waraich expressed his concern over crash in Potato prices and demanded that NAFED shall procure the Potatoes through MARKFED to protect the interests of Potato growers. He also demanded from center government to provide subsidy on freight to Potato growers so that farmers could transport their yield to other states and in  foreign countries.AAP convener said that the SIT formed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to probe the remaining cases of 1984 genocide of Sikhs had proved a hoax and it was used to give clean chit to criminals and leaders of Congress and BJP involved in the killings of Sikhs. He said that Modi had formed SIT to preempt formation of SIT by AAP government in Delhi. Out of 59 cases picked by it charge sheet is filed in 4 cases and 38 cases have been closed. He said that total about 350 FIRs were not investigated in which names of Congress and BJP leaders were given.Waraich also said that AAP was satisfied with the working of Election Commission and Congratulated EC for peaceful conduct of elections. He however said that AAP had raised discrepancies at administrative level in Punjab and EC has rectified the problems with positive mind. He said that AAP workers were alert and would point out any lapse in the administration insecurity of strong rooms.
