The Punjab Pradesh Aggarwal Sammelan has extended its unconditional support to the Congress, led by Captain Amarinder Singh, in the assembly elections.A Sammelan delegation, led by state chairman Amrit Lal Aggarwal and state president Rajesh Aggarwal (former vice chairman, PSIDC, Punjab Govt), met Captain Amarinder on Wednesday, along with several other office-bearers to convey their support to him, saying Punjab needed his leadership to save it from the ruin wreaked by the Badal government.Members from various districts were part of the delegation, which apprised the PPCC president of the problems faced by the community under the Akali rule.The Sammelan has urged all Aggarwal community members across Punjab to vote for the Congress to bring about the revival of the state’s growth and development.
