Prof. Saifuddin Soz, Former Union Minister Friday congratulated Yashwant Sinha for his sustained interest towards the resolution of the crisis in Kashmir.I thanked him for making his Interim Report on Kashmir, public. I, particularly, thanked him for the fact that he has made it clear to the Nation that things are going to get worse if the process for an effective dialogue is not initiated with the stakeholders, the separatists and others, in Kashmir,” Soz said in a statement to news agency CNS. Soz added that he talked on phone to Ram Jethmalani, a prominent jurist and urged him to lend his support to Yashwant Sinha initiative. “Later, a meeting between Ram Jathmalani and Yashwant Sinha also took place. I also talked on phone to Mahesh Butt, film director and producer and strongly pleaded with him that people like him, who have a lot of concern for Kashmir, must rise to the occasion and strengthen the efforts by Yashwant Sinha and his colleagues in respect of the grim situation in Kashmir.”“I have strongly pleaded with some prominent citizens and others that if a purposeful dialogue is not initiated with the separatists and others, then Yashwant Sinha’s prediction that things might go worse in the days to come, will certainly come true.” (CNS)
