AAP demands to remove Harsimrat Badal from Cabinet for intimidating people of Punjab

Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) today demanded removal of Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal from the cabinet and registration of case against her under section 506 of IPC and relevant sections of Peoples Representatives Act for inciting violence in the poll bound Punjab and also for targeting AAP volunteers.AAP leaders H.S.Phoolka party candidate from Dakha and Navkiran Singh Chairman of Human Rights Wing of AAP today at a press conference strongly reacted to Harsimrat Kaur Badal’s statement in which she has said, “If Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal told workers of his Shiromani Akali Dal to turn violent, members of the Aam Aadmi Party would not stay alive,”  in reaction to shoe hurled at Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal at Lambi  Yesterday.
AAP leaders said that they don’t indulge in any kind of violence nor support such act and neither they are scared of the threats of kind Harsimrat Badal is issuing. Her statement reflected fear and frustration of imminent defeat in the elections. They said that she had violated the constitution being a minister in the Union Cabinet.  She had indeed revealed the criminal mentality of Badal family which is targeting innocent people in the state and booked hundreds of people in fake criminal cases.  She had no right to stay in Union cabinet, said Phoolka and Navkiran Singh.
They further said that Badal family had foreseen their defeat and now using violence as last resort to defeat the people’s mandate. They said that Badals might indulge in violence and misuse government machinery for the purpose. They demanded to hand over full control of elections to para-military forces.
Phoolka and Navkiran Singh asked Chief Minister if he also endorsed the views of his daughter-in-law, he also has no right to stay in the post. They demanded clarification and apology from Badal for supporting Harsimrat  Kaur Badal. They said that it was duty of Chief Minister to maintain peace in the state but it is becoming evident that attempts were being made to disturb the law and order in state.AAP leaders have also submitted the complaint and copy of video of Harsimrat Kaur Badal to the Election Commission of India through CEO Punjab and demanded to recommend to Prime Minister to immediately remove her from cabinet. They requested the ECI to take cognizance of outburst against AAP by Harsimrat Kaur Badal and stated  that no AAP volunteer was involved in the incident of shoe throwing.  We are peaceful people and want peace and justice prevail in the state, Phoolka concluded.
