Junkyard Groove, an alternative punk rock band is one such group that has been creating waves in South India over the last few years. The band comprises founder and lead vocalist Ameeth Thomas, Shashank Vijay on drums and Jitesh on Bass. Their very first album ’11:11’ was a breakthrough success, putting them on the map. Come weekend, Junkyard Groove is ready to mesmerize partygoers in Chennai as they perform at Baleno Wicked Weekends, India’s longest party marathon. Baleno Wicked Weekends has successfully rocked some of the most happening party destinations in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Pune with stunning performances by some of the most followed indie bands and artists like Raghu Dixit, Madboy/Mink, Dualist Inquiry, Lost Stories, MojoJojo and more. Gearing up to enliven the party scene in Chennai with Junkyard Groove, Baleno Wicked Weekends will bring the fiesta to one of the most happening party destinations in the city – Gatsby 2000 - The Crown Plaza.Baleno Wicked Weekends traverses across 6 metros in India with 40 performances by some of India’s most celebrated independent musicians at 40 of the most happening hangouts in the country. Adding a dash of panache and entertainment to the 40-week long party marathon, Living Foodz, the ‘foodtainment’ channel, has also joined hands with the property as its lifestyle partner.
