Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday called for the need to identify dangerous buildings in the national capital, which are on the verge of collapsing."There is a need to identify the dangerous buildings in the national capital. Unfortunately the MCD (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) whose work it ir, is not doing it. We want MCD to quickly look into the issue so that other buildings don't collapse," he said after visiting a woman critically injured when a three-storey building collapsed in the Azad Market on Friday.Coming out of Hindu Rao Hospital, he said that separate reports have been sought from the divisional commissioner and the civic body on the incident."I asked them to give fair a report. A FIR should be registered and guilty should be punished. As per the law, Rs 2 lakh has to be given to family of deceased and Rs 50,000 to injured person. We have sanctioned this amount. But their house has completely collapsed. The family is poor, we will see if more is required. More money can be given to them," said Kejriwal.Police had said a woman, identified as Jimla, 47, was killed and her daughter, Komal, 23, critically injured when the century-old decrepit building in the Azad market in north Delhi collapsed. Two families were residing the building which had three flats."One of the families had gone to their hometown in Bihar for Chhath Puja celebrations. The other family, of which Jimla and Komal were members, stayed back," a police officer had said.
