Terming the martyrdom of 12 year old school boy, Junaid Ahmad Akhoon, in Saidpora, Srinagar, as cold blooded murder and the worst example of state terrorism by Indian government and its local stooges, senior Hurriyat leader and Jammu Kashmir National Front Chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan today said that Juniad’s murder has shacked the conscience of every human being across the world. “But the Indian agents in occupied Kashmir will still defend the murderers because they want to save and prolong their political power,” he said and asked “which forces camp or police station was attacked by innocent Junaid that he was targeted by pellets?”Demanding an international probe into the killing of Junaid, Nayeem Khan expressed solidarity with the parents of Juniad and his close relatives. “We can understand the pain, parents and sisters of Shaheed Junaid Ahmad are going through, but we believe that the day is not far off when murderers will have to answer for their each and every black deeds,” Khan said.He said that the people of the Indian occupied region are facing worst kind of atrocities by state only for demanding their fundamental right, right to self determination in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions.

Nayeem Khan said that the grave situation of human rights violations in the Indian occupied Kashmir, growing atrocities and genocide of Kashmiri people should be a matter of concern to the international community and the UN.He said that during last three months, the Indian occupation forces and their local collaborators have martyred more than 92 innocents and defenceless Kashmiris, mostly young and injured over 14,000 with scores in critical condition and several hundred blinded due to the use of pellet guns. “The situation has already given rise to a number of social problems,” Nayeem Khan said adding which were already at rise in Kashmir due to the prolonged Indian occupation.
