Chairperson, H.P. Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section Pratibha Singh has urged all the members to participate actively in all activities of the Red Cross so that the suffering humanity could be served with full dedication.She was presiding over the meeting of Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section here today. She said the Section organised various fairs during last one year to generate revenue and free medicines, blankets and other equipments were distributed amongst the needy patients who were under treatment in the hospitals. Besides, blood donation camps, plantation drives and programmes on disaster management were also organised by the Section, she added.Pratibha Singh said that the Hospital Welfare Section would distribute sweets and fruits in all the three hospitals of the Shimla town and 13 Ashrams on the occasion of Diwali for which the entire cost would be borne by the members of the Section.Secretary, State Red Cross Shri P.S. Rana detailed about the activities being undertaken by the Red Cross.
