With a view to give the final touches to the AAP Election Manifesto for coming Vidhan Sabha elections  relating to Trade, Industry and Transport,  a special   ‘Punjab Dialog program’  for Real Estate  was conducted by Manifesto Team of Aam Aadmi Party headed by Kanwar Sandhu  at Urban Estate Dugri here last night. The manifesto Team   listen to the  problems of  Property Consultants and  colonisers , which were responsible for a slump in Real Estate business in Punjab and  also note down the suggestions   for the revival of the Realty sector. In the programme representative from about a dozen  associations from Real Estate and transport participated and highlighted the problems being face by the different sections. They also put forward the ways to solve the problems.Reacting on the problems and suggestions,  Mr. Kanwar Sandhu said that  AAP will accord top  priority  for the revival a of property business in Punjab and to ensure affordable houses to the poor  after forming AAP Govt and assured that  Zero tolerance policy will be adopted on corruption. He assured that  exorbitant External Development Charges  and  Land Use Change charges will be cut down to genuine scale, so as to give a boost to the property trade. He added that AAP Govt, will  regularise all the existing colonies in the state, where the people  were  a lot of problems in construction and selling plots.  

He slammed Badal Govt. for adopting  a rigid stand against the genuine problems of this sector, which had virtually damaged  the real estate business   in the state and mostly all the people evolved in it are suffering unbearable losses.  He added that with the slump  in the  Real Estate business , the total economy of the state got paralysed and a substantial chunk of population   rendered unemployed. Mr. Sandhu asserted that the party had already prepared  and released two Election Manifestoes relating to  Youth and Farmers and Labour  by inviting the suggestions in Punjab dialogues, which were very close to the ground realities. Mr. Sandhu assured that all the promises  made in the Manifesto will positively be fulfilled.Addressing the meeting President TTI Wing Aman Arora  said that  AAP Govt. Will take concrete steps to revive the real estate  business in state and  provide cheaper houses to the EWS.Among others who addressed the meeting included Member of Manifesto Team Chander Sutta Dogra,  Gen Secy TTI  Wing Surinder Singh Arora, Member State Media Team Darshan Singh Shankar DPRO(Retd), Puneet Malhotra  and Vikram Datt Kapoor.
