Presiding the district level function in Dharamshala , the transport minister G.S. Bali said that HRTC shall have Super Luxury Scania AC buses in its fleet. The first such bus will start from Mecleodganj to Delhi & back in a couple of days . “Such buses will be used to connect district head quarter with Shimla ,”minister added .Himachal Transport Minister GS bali announced that all state/ central government employees shall get 15% concession while travelling in HRTC buses within the state. HIV patients shall travel free in HRTC buses . He said ,”HRTC will provide Taxi service in Shimla, Dharamshala,Chamba and Manali, in next two months.”Bali said that HRTC shall start 6 new Volvo buses on Mecleodganj –Delhi,Shimla –Katra, Shimla-Haridwar,Manali –Amritsar and Baijnath- Chandigarh routes in two three days. He said , “ 20-25 seated luxury bus shall be started between Poanta Sahib (Nahan) –Delhi. Such small buses shall be operated in other places within state .”
