APSCC members have expressed anguish over the day to day killing of innocent people in Kashmir valley. The situation has taken a very serious turn by keeping the common man hostage since last 25 days of curfew. APSCC today held a condolence meeting to mourn the innocent killings.

APSCC Chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina said that its shocking that the government is not able to ban or prevent Pellet gun which has taken toll of injuries to 200. Many have lost their eye sight, at the same time the number of injured has crossed 3000 which is outrageous. There is no hope from Central government to bring all Kashmiri leaders on table to resolve the ongoing turmoil. He further said that during our abet camp at SHMS hospital Srinagar and discussion with senior doctors we recommended Diljeet Eye hospital Amritsar, for treatment of eye injuries. The Hospital have assured their help and cooperation to the needy and poor people.

Raina said in the coming days we will organize more medical camps.Dr Joginder Singh Shaan said that innocent killings will not help to restore peace in Kashmir valley, and urged the central government to bring all Kashmir leaders including separatists for resolving the ongoing turmoil.APSCC member Pardeep Singh said that Home Minister Rajnath Singh came to Kashmir without any agenda and solution. His visit to Kashmir was more of an eye wash rather than resolving out the Kashmir turmoil, due to which all Civil society bodies boycotted his offer for meeting.APSCC demands immediate visits of senior leaders from Nationals parties to know ground zero situation prevailing since last 25 days in valley, and take this issue to current Parliament session without fail. APSCC has shown keen concern regarding minorities of Kashmir. (KNS)
