Strict curfew and communication clampdown continue on 13th day in the Valley, while authorities disallowed deal in shutdown.The unrest continues for the 13th day today after the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander, Burhan Muzaffar Wani, by forces in Bumdoora village of Kokernag in Anantnag district on July 8 evening.The authorities this afternoon disallowed deal in shutdown after 2 pm which was announced by separatists to stock essential commodities.A police spokesman in a statement to KNS said, “The curfew and restrictions will remain strictly in place throughout the day till further orders.”Mobile phones and internet services remained suspended in the Valley, however, only BSNL Broadband and post-paid services are being allowed to operate. Train services also remained suspended.Top Hurriyat leaders including Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, JKLF chief Muhammad Yasin Malik on Wednesday extended the strike call up to July 25. Separatists have appealed the people to continue the shutdown till Monday. (KNS)?
