After battling for around three years of being an accused in a murder case, Patiala Ex-Mayor Jaspal Pradhan has finally been given a clean chit by the CBI. The all-relieved Jaspal Pradhan said that in a fight of truth and false charges, the truth have come out to be victorious and all the ill pretended charges dropped.Jaspal Pradhan, while talking to press reporters stated that he was completely sure of his innocence and that he would get total justice. He added that it was just because of the ill-will and mal-intention of some political opponents that he was kept in such a deep and false rut for three years. He thanked all those who trusted his innocence and stood by him in his hard time.

He expressed deep gratitude to Shiromani Akali Dal , Sukhbir Singh Badal, Panchayat Minister Sikander Singh Malooka and Surjeet Singh Rakhada who kept their faith in him. He further shared his sentiments of standing by his party then and also in future. He grieved that all the blames were just because of the resentment of the opposition on his being chaired for mayorship. He stated that although he has lost many years in battling such unworthy charges against him, his zest for serving his party has not faded still. Beginning his political rein afresh he re- assured the party of his complete dedication to work for its benefit and that he would be all ready and eager to give his un-selfish services to the party he has been loyal to and will be his entire life.
