Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar G N Balwan convened a meeting of District officers and representatives of Sri Sarthal Devi Trust here at Kishtwar to discuss the arrangements for upcoming Sarthal Yatra scheduled on July 12 and 13.Senior Superintendent of Police Sandeep Wazir, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishori Lal Sharma, CPO Yasir Balwan, District Officers of PWD (R&B) , PHE , PDD, Health, Traffic, CA&PD, KDA, Information, CRPF, Army  Fire  & emergency Services besides representatives of Sri Sarthal Devi Trust were also present in the meeting.During the meeting the members of the Trust apprised the DC that the Yatra will proceed towards Sarthal Shrine from Gori Shanker Mandir Sarkoot on July 12 and on July 13, 2016 the Chhari will be offered to Devi at Sarthal Mandir.The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned departments to ensure supply of drinking water, medical facilities, ambulance, toilet facility and sufficient number of vehicles for the devotees.The arrangements regarding security and availability of fire tenders were also reviewed. The DC asked the concerned departments to work in coordination for smooth conduct of Yatra and ensure all facilities to the devotees.
