Chief Electoral Officer Jammu and Kashmir, Shantmanu on Monday said that excluding Anantnag district, police department can make the selection list of 4000 constables’ public.He was referring to a query over the letter written by police chief, K Rajendra Kumar to him seeking approval for making the selection list of 4000 constables public.Shantmanu while admitting that he has received a letter from JK police chief told KNS that as the code of conduct is in force in Anantnag, the state police can make the selection list of candidate’s public but without the aspirants from Anantnag district.He said that if there is any process pending like exams, interviews or other things they can go ahead with that but the selection list for the candidates of Anantnag shouldn’t be made public till the code of conduct is in force.
