The Deputy Commissioner Kulgam today flagged off a group of 60 Children With Special needs (CWSN) under SSA here to the exposure trip to University of Kashmir and other health resorts.The group of sixty students was escorted by eight resource teachers from School Education Department under the guidance of Chief Education Officer Kulgam. It is for the first time that department of School Education Kulgam has organized such an event for children with special needs. All the needs regarding their tour would be taken care of by department the CEO Kulgam said.Deputy Commissioner while interacting with special students on the occasion said the aim of this trip is to forge compassion and acceptance of the disabled children. He directed the School Education Department to organize more such events in future.The district has 2005 CWSN out of which 1300 are enrolled in Government schools.
