Sigma nursing College students meets SOI President, wants to take up case with government against college management

The students of Sigma Nursing College met Director Youth Development Board and Zonal president of Students Organization of India (SOI) Meetpal Singh Dugri on Saturday. The students accompanied by their parents demanded the Soi to take up the matter of fraud committed by college management with students.The Students of GNM course at Sigma Nursing College told SOI president that management has charged tution fees from them but didn’t forwarded examination form and fees to Punjab Nurses registration council (PNRC).The students demand SOI to bring the matter in the notice of government and demanded strict action against college management.

Director of youth development Board and SOI Zonal president Meetpal Singh Dugri said that 22 students of Sigma nursing College has approached them and informed that college authorities have taken fee but didn’t deposit it further with concerned authorities.The Students were unable to appear in the examination and their one academic year was wasted. Moreover the college authorities were not returning the original certificates of students, said Kulwinder kaur to SOI president.Accompanied by Sahibjot Singh Chawla, Prince kang and Jaskamal Gill, Meetpal Singh Dugri said that a Police complaint was lodged with SSP Khanna against college management and the issue will be taken up with government. the students will be provided with the Justice and strict action would be taken against the college management, assured Meetpal Dugri to students.
