The Minister for Agriculture,Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura today directed Jammu and Kashmir Project Construction Corporation (JKPCC), JK Housing Board and Roads and Buildings department to work in synergy to expedite the pace of work on various health institutions in Chrar-i-Sharief constituency and complete them in a time bound manner. He also stressed on judicious use of funds and strict adherence to quality norms.The instructions were given by the Minister in a meeting convened to take stock of ongoing projects of Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and New Type Primary Health Centres (NTPHCs) in Chrar-i-Sharief here today.Detailed discussions were held on staff position and filling up of vacant posts both of doctors & para medical, ambulance facilities in every PHCs, clearance of power tariff, fund position, availability of equipment and machinery.

While discussing the land issue for PHC Nagbal, Mr. Hanjura directed the concerned to take up the matter with the forest department and submit its report to the concerned quarter so that the case would be settled as early as possible.Addressing the meeting, the Minister said that the Government is committed to provide best medicare facilities to the people of the State at their door steps adding that concerted efforts will be made to upgrade infrastructure in all the health institutions.The meeting was attended by the Director Health Services Kashmir Dr. Sameer Matoo, Managing Director, JKPCC Mr. Deelip Thusoo, Secretary, JK Housing Board Mr. Ram Paul Sharma, Joint Director Planning, Health and Medical Education Mr. Bhagat, Chief Medical Officer, Budgam and other concerned officers of various departments.
