Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has taken a tough stance against the driver and conductor of the bus who have molested a female passenger near Jalandhar. The party has criticized Badal and his close associates for the political patronage to the killers of the innocent people. In a statement to the media, AAP State Legal Cell Chief, Himmat Singh Shergill said there is complete lawlessness in the state and dignity and security of women is at stake in the buses in Punjab. He said that the Jalandhar incident is the recent example of the high-headiness of the bus operators in Punjab.
Shergill said that the state police and the government didn’t act properly against the accused driver and conductor in Moga Orbit case that lead to more incidents like that. He said that the eyewitnesses in the case were made to change their statements forcefully. Shergill suspected that these buses are also being used for the illegal activities in the state.AAP leader look serious note of an accident in which a women was ran over by the ‘Jujhar’ transport bus near Sri Mukatsar Sahib yesterday. He said that this is the fifth incident in the month where the buses related to Badal family or their close associates have killed the innocent people. Shergill appealed the people of the state to raise their voice against the high-headiness of these bus operators.
