Minister of State for Cooperatives, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today visited Ujh Pull Ludhera in Billawar and paid obeisance at Khwaja Peer/ Varun Devta shrine on the occasion of Annual Bhandara.The Minister took stock of the arrangements made by the administration for visiting pilgrims during annual Bhandara at the shrine.District Development Commissioner Kathua, Mr. Jitendra Kumar Singh, SDM, Billawar, Mr Deep Raj, SDPO, Basholi, and other officers of the area were accompanied by the Minister during the visit.Thousands of pilgrims in and outside the State belonging from different religions visited the shrine and paid obeisance.The Minister on the occasion prayed for peace and communal harmony of the State. He retreated that such religious places always help in bringing people together and also enshrined the spirit of solidarity among them. He said the mass gathering of the devotees from every religion shows the deep roots of our rich culture which always encourage brotherhood and tranquility.
