A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Tourist Trade Peoples Federation (JKTTPF), led by its Chairman, Mahesh Chander Padha, called on Governor N.N. Vohra here at the Raj Bhavan.The delegation apprised the Governor about various voluntary activities being carried out by the JKTTPF for the facilitation of the pilgrims to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine and Shri Amarnathji Shrine. It also made some suggestions for improving the facilities required to be provided to Yatris at the Base Camps of Bhagwati Nagar and Katra, particularly the need to provide a Locker at Bhagwati Nagar.The Governor urged the JKTTPF to get involved, inter alia, in publicizing the DO’s and DONT’s which are required to be observed by pilgrims who undertake the Shri Amarnathji Yatra.
