Reiterating government commitment to fulfil developmental and welfare aspirations of the people of the State, Minister of State for PHE, Forests, Irrigation & Flood Control and Animal Husbandry, Mr. Abdul Majeed Paddar today said Government is working hard to ensure that developmental goals are met at the earliest and people are provided with all essential facilities.The Minister said this while addressing a public gathering at Malvan village of Noorabad Constituency in Kulgam district.The Minister also visited Brain Lammar, Khulshan Akhaal and other areas of the Constituency and took stock of developmental works being executed. 

He asked concerned to complete works within the stipulated time.The Minister also announced Rs 10 lakh from his CDF for construction of protection bund at Nalla Malvan to protect the area from flash floods. He also announced replacement of 100 KV power transformer with a new 250 KV capacity within a week.Mr. Paddar asked BDO Pahloo to take up the work in hand for the fencing of the graveyard in Malvan. He also asked forest authorities to provide fallen wood to the local population on priority.
