Minister for Health and Medical Education, ARI & Trainings, Chowdhary Lal Singh today visited district Ganderbal to review the health scenario in the district.The Minster visited Urban Health Centre, Zakoora, District Hospital, Ganderbal, PHC Laar, Maternity centre, Watlaar.Mr Singh took stock of developmental projects in health sector and later took a round of the hospital and asked the officials to work for the betterment of the people. He said that people have high expectations from the government and especially to see the health-sector growing across the state. He interacted with  patients and people, who appealed the minister to accelerate the work in newly constructed district hospital, Ganderbal.

The Minister directed the officials that doctors should make sure to obey the duty-roaster and urged the officials that to maintain the proper records.

The minister accompanied by MLA Gaderbal Sheikh Ashfaq Jabbar, Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, Showkat Aijaz, Director Health Services, Kashmir, Dr Sumeer Mattoo, Director, Family Welfare, Dr Baldev, Mission Director, NHM, Dr Mohan Singh, Managing Director, J&K Medical Supplies Corporation, Dr Yashpal Sharma, CMO, BMO and senior officers of the district administration.Mr Singh said the delivery system across the State will be upgraded in terms of manpower and equipments. He urged people to give the current government a proper time frame for witnessing the change in development across the State.
