Jammu and Kashmir Police secured 2nd runner up position at All India Police Golf Tournament-2015 held at Phillaur Punjab. The team comprising Mr. Dilbagh Singh, ADGP Police Housing Corporation and Mr. Garib Dass, DIG North Kashmir Range represented the Organisation in the competition.Director General of Police (DGP), Mr. K. Rajendra Kumar appreciated the team members. He said JKP has a rich tradition in the sports arena, as our teams have excelled at national and international levels.Mr. Rajendra said that JKP is promoting sports culture within the Organisation to refine the talent of our sports persons. He said that our teams in different disciplines have brought laurels for the organisation and the State at various levels.The Tournament was organised under the aegis of All India Police Sports Control Board at Ranjitgarh Golf Club of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Punjab Police Academy Phillaur.Teams from BSF, CRPF, ITBP, NSG and other CAPFs and CPOs, apart from all State Police Forces participated in the event.The team of JKP ranked 3rd overall in the tournament handed over the trophies and prizes to DGP at PHQ here today.
