Deputy Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Mr. Nazir Ahmad Gurezi today concluded a week-long extensive tour of various areas in tehsil Gurez. He took stock of the developmental works besides listened to the grievances of the public in Bagtore, Kanzalwan, Dawar and Tulail villages.The Deputy Speaker inspected several developmental works under execution and asked the executing agencies including R&B to gear up their respective field agencies and complete the projects in a stipulated time frame.During his tour, several deputations met the Deputy Speaker and apprised him about their individual and collective problems. 

These included repairs and renovation of lanes and drains, replacement of damaged transformers, construction of protection bunds on nallah Kishan Ganga, early sanctioning of IAY cases, upgradation of educational institutions and timely stocking of essential commodities including k.Oil and LPG gas.Mr. Gurezi gave them patient hearing and assured them that their genuine demands would be looked into. He, in some cases, gave on the spot directions to the concerned for early redressal.Interacting with the people at different places, the Deputy Speaker said that the construction on various micro and macro projects under different sectors is apace in tehsil Gurez. He said the directions have already been given to the concerned agencies to complete all ongoing projects in a time bound manner.Later, Mr. Gurezi convened a meeting with the officers of different departments and reviewed progress of developmental works.
